Yeah Aj, i seen quite a few of em now.
They are deeeeeep!!!!!!!

I heard they were from South London and also heard that they're in prison now.... not to sure whether that's true.

But yeah anyway, i do have to laugh sometimes but still think they're proper rude.

Apparently, there's one where they fly kick some girl in her back, she drops to the floor and just carries on walking... LOL. Proper deeeeep!!!

And the one where they slap some guy on the top of a double decker after giving a countdown (LOL) 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 then it's just BAM! And he runs down the bus, poor thing....

BASICALLY.....

Quite a few people have these video clips on their phones.

What it is, is a group of boys (in their teens) use the video on their mobiles and film each other going up to random people, in the street, on buses etc and just proper slapping them round their face!!! like proper full on SLAP!

They tend to target people on their own and when no other people are around.

They do it to men, boys, women and girls.

Sometimes they give a little build up to slap (like i mentioned the countdown earlier....).

When u watch it u kinda don't know whther to laugh or cry..... lol. :(

Playground Crazes: 'Happy Slap TV'
BBC London News reported this afternoon on a new craze amongst London youths: slapping random commuters in the face and filming the result on mobile phones with video cameras. The resulting 'Happy Slap TV' clips are then shared amongst friends (via MMS?), causing much hilarity.

A psychologist on the programme put some of the blame on the BBC itself, saying that shows like Dom Jolly's 'Trigger Happy TV' had inspired these copy-cat clips. He also said that it was part of a general trend whereby people weren't content to simply consume the media and instead want to be part of it, creating and sharing content.

Brave words indeed, and I can see that the idea has an element of truth in it. In some ways, blogs and moblogs are an adult extension of the same idea, and the idea of creating and sharing video content is one which is being encouraged by everyone from creatives to the mobile phone companies.

So, put this technology into the hands of youngsters, and there's bound to be some who use it offensively. Whilst the 'happy slap tv' clips in some ways show imagination and initiative, it's also clearly assault and 'slapstick' taken a bit too literally...

saw this the other day - over harsh but hilarious - we used 2 do this in school tho! hehe, the school actually officially banned us from doing it, boy that was a good 4 years ago now, but still, we didnt go on as deep as them :D

omg! is this how all this happy slap stuff started! ive seen people goin round doin it..but never understood where it came form. Theres these group of girls in my school that go round happy slappin people when they're out...even old people..n tape it on their phones. Itz really dumb, them doin that. Itz funny when every1 does it to eachover as a jke..but they go ott.

Na man there bare jokez, they been about from time tho, flying about the bluetooth phones, but its all about my mans down Bristol, have started doing there own and they are raw jokez trust!!Ive seen about 8 o dem, theres one where lethal b's saying pow, just as they slap the person, on that one they go tru all o them with lethal saying pow, yea they boot the girl ova, they slap one nex girl, theres too many!!
